If you are put off by the bulky collection charge from your local council to remove large items, do not be tempted by a knock down price from a local man with a van.  As a lady found out the hard way, she paid £5 to have someone clean her wheelie bin, only then to be charged £680 for flytipping, the man she had hired had flytipped the contents of the bin.
