Delivery Policy

We understand that Wheelie Bins aren't an everyday purchase. In fact, most domestic customers will only buy a Wheelie Bin once every 10 years. How much is Delivery?

Due to the size of these bins, only specialist couriers will deliver these products, we subsidise delivery costs as much as we can. We guarantee to be the lowest price available even with shipping costs and we try to be clear and honest with our pricing. We also offer free collections on certain items and if you want to arrange this please contact us on live chat or call 01684 292727. How long do I have to wait for my wheelie bins to be dispatched?

All of our plastic wheelie bins on our website are stored in the local distribution centre, we aim to keep all colours advertised in stock at all times, but there are instances where we do run low on stock and must await delivery from the moulders. Smaller items such as bin sacks and some of our other bins are processed and dispatched within 24 hours, (For clarification if the item will be dispatched in this time frame please contact our team via live chat or on the phone on 01684292727). If you place an order and we cannot fulfil your order for any reason we will contact you straight away to offer an alternative or advise on a lead time.

Can you give me an estimated time for delivery?

All of our plastic wheelie bins on our website are stored in our warehouse in the UK, we aim to keep all colours advertised in stock at all times. However on the rare occasion, we have limitations we endeavour to make this visible on our website, there are instances where we run low on stock and must await delivery from the moulders. If you place an order and we cannot fulfil your order for any reason we will contact you straight away to offer an alternative or advise on lead time.

All of our orders go with either courier Tuffnells, XDP or the national pallet network are processed and dispatched within 24 hours and the majority of time will be delivered in around 1-2 working days from processing. However, please refer to the individual product listing for a full ETA. These delivery ETA's only apply to mainland UK addresses and exclude addresses in the highlands. Any orders for delivery into the highlands would require an additional payment for carriage, please contact us before ordering for us to obtain a shipping quote, we only pass on the additional carriage charge direct from the couriers.

Any wheelie bins that require any modifications will extend the delivery time, this includes having locks, apertures or non-standard lids fitted, these products we will aim to deliver within 5 working days. Pallet quantities of bins will often take slightly longer, they are usually delivered within 2-4 working days.

If I order on the weekend or a Bank Holiday can I receive my order the next day?

Unfortunately not. If you ordered for example on a Bank Holiday Monday the goods would not be packed until Tuesday, then dispatched on Wednesday for delivery Thursday.

Can you deliver to outside of mainland UK (including Highlands)?

Due to Brexit, there are increased issues with shipping to Northern Ireland. We recommend considering your own couriers as they can often be quicker and cheaper. Areas from postcodes AB12 and above are also likely to incur extra shipping charges. The best thing to do is to give us a call or contact us by email and tell us what you would like to order and where you would like it to be delivered so we can give a more accurate quote. We will only ever charge you the actual cost price from the courier.

Can my order be delivered to an address different to my billing?

Yes that is no problem at all, in fact a lot of our customers do just that. When you go through to the checkout you will see an option under the Payment Method section to enter a different billing address.

My delivery has got damaged - what should I do?

If you notice the box is damaged then straight away mark the box as "unchecked" or "damaged box" and reject the delivery so we have recourse with the courier. If you have taken the bin in and only found damage once you have opened the box then please email or call us as soon as possible so we can get a replacement out to you. To save any lengthy delays we will typically ask for a picture of the damaged bin. This enables us to get a replacement sent out before the other goods are returned back.

Can I return my wheelie bin?

We stress that customers check with their local council before the point of ordering to ensure they are ordering the correct size and are compatible with the local collection service. Due to the size of these bins, only specialist couriers will deliver these products, we heavily subsidise delivery costs for the bins but to return them would be rather costly. If there is a fault in some way we will of course rectify at no cost to yourselves but we would need to be notified as soon as possible. We can only accept returns within 7 days of delivery.

If you would like to send the bins back, this would be at your own cost. This would vary but at the low end you would be looking at least £40 per bin. If any amendments or additions have been fitted we have the right to refuse return of the bins in relation to the Distance Selling Regulations for Consumers.
