Does Cambridge's Underground Rubbish System Spell the End for Wheelie Bins

The University of Cambridge are set to install one of the largest underground bin systems in the UK, with 450 underground bins ready for install it is the start for sustainability in the county.  Each bin has the capacity of 20 wheelie bins and will look to increase improving the waste management systems.

Residents in Telford are undergoing inspections from enforcement officers have been opening up wheelie bins and inspecting rubbish to look for contaminated waste.  A trial has been set up to inspect 10 streets rubbish over a 4 week period to clean up areas which are known for problems with warnings of potential fines for residents who do not abide by the rules.
