Stock

We try to keep all of our products in stock all of the time.

Sometimes demand for certain products is very high and we can't replace stock quickly enough. Sometimes manufacturers themselves are out of stock. Where you see an out of stock message the product will be temporarily unavailable to order. Occasionally items can sell out before we have a chance to alter the status on our site. In this event we will contact you and either send the item/s when they arrive, offer an alternative colour/size or refund the purchase price.

We are adding new products to our site every week. We will keep you informed of new arrivals and special offers in our newsletter.

Failed Deliverys

We use a couple of different couriers to deliver wheelie bins and the expected delivery time is within 5 working days. Often it can be shorter, but sometimes it can be a day or two later. Deliveries will only be on a weekday as the couriers do not deliver on a weekend. It is always advisable to tell us a safe place to leave your bin in case you are not in. If you are not in and no safe place has been given a redelivery fee of £5 per redelivery will be applied.

Returns policy

When you take delivery of goods from a carrier they will ask you to sign that you have received the goods in good condition. WheelieBins therefore advise that you check the goods thoroughly before signing and if you notice that the goods are damaged or you have an incorrect delivery please reject the delivery and contact us asap so that we can organise a replacement without delay. If you have not noticed this until the driver has already left you will have 24 hours to notify us of any problems. This doesn’t affect your rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. 

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason then providing the bin is returned to us within 14 days and in original packaging in an unused condition we will issue a full refund minus a handling fee. There is a handling fee for all items which are returned not faulty or cancelled before delivery is made. This is to cover credit card costs involved in taking the transaction and issuing a refund and re-stocking. This fee is 15%. All faulty items must be returned to us within 7 days of receipt at the customers cost. Once we have accepted the goods are faulty a full refund will be issued.

How do I return an item?

Please email us with your returns request, we will then provide you with the return details and the returns address. Please be aware that customers are responsible for the return postage or any carriage charges which may apply.

What do I do if I’m returning a damaged item?

In the unlikely event of anything being faulty or damaged in transit please mark the delivery note the courier gives you to sign as damaged before they leave. The next step is to contact us immediately via telephone and to arrange for the items return or replacement. The customer must retain proof of postage when sending the damaged goods back, WheelieBins cannot be held responsible for non receipt.

General

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, but do not affect your statutory rights.

  • We will not accept any liability for errors in the descriptions of goods, or in the pricing. WheelieBins can alter the descriptions and pricing of the products at anytime.
  • We cannot be held responsible for any losses resulting from misuse of our website.
  • WheelieBins can only be held liable up to the cost of the product(s) purchased

Marketing data

At WheelieBins we like to keep our customers updated on special offers and new products, this may be via e-mail or through the post. Whilst this will only happen occasionally, we do understand that some may not wish to be included in this. If you have not ticked the box allowing us to do this then we will not send you any news or special offers. In the unlikely event you did receive anything you should not of please contact us and we will immediately remove your e-mail address.

Security

All transaction information is taken by Sagepay. Sagepay are the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the country, the Sagepay VSP Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No card holder information is ever passed unencrypted.

What this all means is that your data is entirely secure. Rest assured that no one at WheelieBins, Sagepay employees or anyone trying to gain access to your card details can.

I’ve finished shopping and want to pay, what now?

What will happen is after you have finished shopping and are ready to purchase the items in your shopping basket you click pay, and will automatically be redirected to Sagepay which is a completely secure page and no one but yourselves can read the information you input.

We use Sagepay to take payments because they have over 100 million satisfied customers and offer the most secure way for our customers to pay, using the very latest encryption methods.

After the transaction is complete Sagepay will notify us that the transaction has been successful and we will send the goods to you.
