Returns Policy

Firstly we must stress that customers need to check the sizes and dimensions of bins. We subsidise the delivery cost we charge to deliver wheelie bins and only specialist couriers will take the bins, therefore returns can be quite costly. Of course if there is a fault we will sort this at no cost to yourselves.

When you take delivery of goods from a carrier they will ask you to sign that you have received the goods in good condition. WheelieBins therefore advise that you check the goods thoroughly before signing and if you notice that the goods are damaged or you have an incorrect delivery please reject it and contact us asap so that we can organise a replacement without delay. If you have not noticed this until the driver has already left you will have 24 hours to notify us of any problems. This doesn’t affect your rights under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason then providing the bin is returned to us within 14 days and in original packaging in an unused condition. If a bin or bins are to be returned to us or are not accepted for delivery, except due to a fault or shipping damage, there will be a restocking fee of £5 per bin. In addition to the actual cost of return shipping, which can vary, but will be at least £20 per bin. If the customer prefers they may return the bins to us at their cost. If we have modified bins to a customer's requirements, for example by fitting locks, apertures or drop down doors, we reserve the right not to accept them being returned. In line with the Distance Selling Regulations for consumers, we do refund the initial delivery charge which is included in the wheelie bin price.
