How long do I have to wait for my wheelie bins to be dispatched?

All of our plastic wheelie bins on our website are stored in the local distribution centre, we aim to keep all colours advertised in stock at all times, but there are instances where we do run low on stock and must await delivery from the moulders. Smaller items such as bin sacks and some of our other bins are processed and dispatched within 24 hours, (For clarification if the item will be dispatched in this time frame please contact our team via live chat or on the phone on 01684 292727). If you place an order and we cannot fulfil your order for any reason we will contact you straight away to offer an alternative or advise on a lead time.

Can you give me an estimated time for delivery?

Small orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours and the majority of time will be delivered in around 2-3 working days from processing (For clarification if your order will be in this time frame please contact our team via live chat or phone on 01684 292727). Larger bins and orders that are required to be delivered on pallets will be dispatched the next working day as long as the order is placed before 3 pm, these will be delivered within 3-4 working days. We can offer an upgraded service for overnight delivery for an additional £10 surcharge, they can be dispatched the same day providing the order is received by 9 am.

Any wheelie bins that require any additions will extend the delivery time, this includes having locks, apertures or having non-standard lids fitted, these products we will aim to deliver within 5 working days.

Do you offer a next day delivery service?

If I order on the weekend or a Bank Holiday can I receive my order the next day?

Unfortunately not. If you ordered for example on a Bank Holiday Monday the goods would not be packed until Tuesday, then dispatched on Wednesday for delivery Thursday.

Can you deliver to outside of mainland UK (including Highlands)?

We can indeed, however, the Highlands will incur additional delivery costs as well as other parts of Northern Scotland, for example, areas with the AB12 postcode. The best thing to do is to give us a call or contact us by email and tell us what you would like to order and where you would like it to be delivered so we can give a more accurate quote. We will only ever charge you the actual cost price from the courier.

Can WheelieBins deliver my order to an address different to my billing?

Yes that is no problem at all, in fact a lot of our customers do just that. When you go through to the checkout you will see an option under the Payment Method section to enter a different billing address, just un-tick the tick box.

Can WheelieBins deliver to my home?

We can deliver to your home address or any other address for that matter. When you check out just choose your billing and delivery address. If you would like the bin left in a safe place or any instructions just put this in the comments box on the checkout page.

My delivery has got damaged - what should I do?

If you notice the box is damaged then straight away mark the box as "unchecked" or "damaged box" and reject the delivery so we have recourse with the courier. If you have taken the bin in and only found damage once you have opened the box then please email or call us as soon as possible so we can get a replacement out to you. To save any lengthy delays we will typically ask for a picture of the damaged bin. This enables us to get a replacement sent out before the other goods are returned back.

Can I return my wheelie bin?

We must stress that customers check with their local council before the point of ordering to ensure they are ordering the correct size and are compatible with the local collection service. Due to the size of these bins, only specialist couriers will deliver these products, we subsidise delivery costs for the bins but to return them would be rather costly. If there is a fault in some way we will of course rectify at no cost to yourselves but we would need to be notified as soon as possible. We can only accept returns within 14 days of delivery.

If you are still not happy and would like to send the bins back, you would have to at your own cost, this would vary but at the low end you would be looking at least £20 per bin. If any amendments or additions have been fitted we have the right to refuse return of the bins in relation to the Distance Selling Regulations for Consumers.

Are there any delivery restrictions?

We can deliver to almost anywhere in the world but our standard delivery only covers the UK Mainland (this excludes the Highlands). If you would like delivery outside of this area then please call or email [email protected] for a quote.
