Harborough Council Set to Charge Residents of New Builds for Bins

Harborough District Council are going to introduct charges for providing wheelie bins to new builds in order to save money.  The council are expecting 3748 new homes to be built which would set back the council more than £58,000 per year to provide these with bins.

Refuse collectors in New Zealand will now know if someone tries to misuse any of the city's mixed recycling bins, these bins are fitted with radio tags which emit a warning light that informs collectors that they're about to empty a bin which does not match the address which it is linked to.
