Residents in Telford are undergoing inspections from enforcement officers have been opening up wheelie bins and inspecting rubbish to look for contaminated waste.  A trial has been set up to inspect 10 streets rubbish over a 4 week period to clean up areas which are known for problems with warnings of potential fines for residents who do not abide by the rules.

Wheelie Bin Roundup 28th August

Good job for CCTV footages in refuse lorries, a refuse collector was threated with a weapon after the workers refused to collect his waste due to hypodermic syrings were found in his wheelie bin, this was all caught on the back of CCTV and as a result went to court.
