Midlothian Council Considers Smaller Bins to Catch Garden Waste Dumpers

MIdlothian council are considering reducing the size of waste bins by half, or reducing waste collections to once per month to help crackdown on residents putting garden waste in their general waste bins, and due to costs they are set to introduce a £35 per year collection fee for garden waste.

Stoke-on-Trent Council Seize 200 Bins Left Out in The Street

Over 200 wheelie bins have been confiscated in Stoke after they were left out in the street too long.  The council targeted 38 streets as part of their crackdown and the residents who lost their wheelie bins have to now call the council to retrieve them back.
